Andrew Morrison

Andrew has been teaching guitar for over 35 years. He is a graduate of Musicians Institute in Hollywood CA. He teaches all styles of music: rock, pop, folk, jazz, blues, metal and country. Andrew teaches students of all ages from absolute beginners to advanced players. Students can learn to play their favorite songs while also learning the basic fundamentals of chords, scales and music theory. Andrew’s focus is on keeping students interested so practicing the guitar is fun!

Andrew is also a published singer/songwriter and music producer. He has performed in bands throughout Southern California for over 35 years and has released numerous albums. His current band A.M. Alarm will be releasing their debut album in the fall of 2020.  www.amalarmmusic.com

When Andrew isn’t teaching, writing, recording and performing music he enjoys hiking with his wife Stacey and their three rescue dogs, Schroeder (Border Collie) Franklin (Terrier mix) and Smokey Joe (Chihuahua mix). They live in Long Beach California.
